What is the E5 Blog?
Thanks for asking! The E5 Blog is an expression of Link Church’s desire to fulfill the E5 Mission that God has given us. The mission of Link Church is expressed in five words: Empower, Embrace, Engage, Enjoy, and Equip. These words give focus to everything that our staff, our church family, and those who partner with us will do as we pursue the vision God has given us.
What do these five words even mean?
Here’s a quick overview:
Empower— We will empower people to bring the Gospel, the healing power of Christ, and the reality of the Holy Spirit to the world.
Embrace— We will embrace our Link family along with all who are hurting, broken, and lost, regardless of their situation or walk of life.
Engage— We will actively engage in the things of God and what He is doing through Link Church to effectively grow His Kingdom.
Enjoy— We will enjoy serving our Savior through passionate worship, intensive study of Scripture, and practical service to our communities and beyond.
Equip— We will equip believers with the resources, knowledge, and support to do what they are called and gifted to do.
Meet our Leaders
David and Brittany Willis (pictured above) have served as the Lead Pastors of Link Church since early 2012. The E5 Mission was initially birthed out of their passion to fill Johnson County, Arkansas with the Gospel of Christ. As they carry out this mission, they are also communicating an ever-growing vision. Earlier this year, David and Brittany shared this with Link Church— “Together, we will establish a home for our Link family—a place where people from diverse cultural backgrounds gather to worship God in unity, transforming no less than ten percent of the population of Johnson County and impacting the nations of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Knowing that such a beautiful vision cannot become reality through their efforts alone, they call all who will join in the mission to “get linked” with them. Alongside all who worship at Link Church, God has gathered the team of staff members that are featured below to accomplish the mission.

Several years ago, it became evident that the vision and mission of Link Church was bigger than an individual location. Responding to that reality, we partnered with congregations in Oark and in Lavaca, Arkansas to open Link Campuses in those cities. Through our combined efforts, we are bringing the message of Christ to Sebastian County as well as Johnson County. We are thankful for the leaders God has established in these locations. Greg and Amber Willis (pictured below on left) serve as our Link Oark campus pastors and are aided by youth pastors Lonnie and Jodi Haggard (pictured below on right).
Josh and Kadie Tumbleson (pictured below) serve as the campus pastors at our Lavaca Link campus.
Together, we are working to transform our communities through the fulfillment of this E5 Mission. This transformation will bless our community with strong marriages, healthy families, recovered addicts, and decreased crime and incarceration rates. We will establish a solid foundation for Link Church to flourish now and for many future generations. We will always welcome new individuals and families as part of our growing Link family. We will function in multiple locations, but we will exist as one family of God, never limiting our influence to a single location or people group. We will develop ministry sustainability by empowering our Link family to establish multiple streams of revenue within the boundaries of our mission (Deuteronomy 8:18).
What About You?
Perhaps God is calling you to participate in this mission. What can you do? If you are a born-again Christian and are part of a family of believers, we encourage you to be faithful to your home church and work alongside us as together we call people to turn from sin and become faithful to the one true God.
If you are not actively following Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we need to talk. You can reach out to our discipleship pastor at robbie@getlinkedchurch.org. We would love to visit with you about God’s plan for your life. Perhaps you’re not ready to talk. If that is the case, open a Bible to the Gospel of John. Start reading in the first chapter and let God talk to you.
Perhaps you live near one of our Link campuses but are not currently attending church. We want to see you and worship alongside you. You can learn more about us at the Link Church Website.
